Improvement of 8 mi of highway in Washington State by constructing 30, 000 ft of log guard rail; pedestal supports for rail were 28 1/2 in. high, 2 ft by 2.7 ft on base, and 12 in. by 12 in. on top, each fitted with anchor bolt 37 in. long on exact center; precasting and placing pedestals described.
