High stability surfacings with tar binder
Development and use of dense tar surfacing and hot process tar macadam for road and airfield use; high viscosity tar binder is used to obtain maximum degree of stability and tar complying with requirements of B.S. 76:1943:E.V.T. 50-54 C has been found to be most suitable. (see also Gas World v 142 n 3698 July 2 1955 p 37-9)
