Use of torque wrench to determine load in roof bolts, part 2. Expansion-type 3/4 in. bolts
Twenty-four combinations of 3/4-in. mine-roof bolts and expansion shell units were tested in each of representative types of mine roof rocks to establish relationship between torque and bolt load and to determine accuracy of measurement.
