Plane frame for testing structures
Internally equilibrated two-dimensional testing frame in use at Imperial College, designed to apply loads up to max of 100 tons; structures having overall dimensions up to 22 ft by 8 ft can be accommodated; it was built primarily for experiments on box girders, but is readily adapted for other structures.
