Adaptation of 24-in. reinforced concrete pile developed by Missouri Pacific, employed extensively in construction of 3-pile bents for trestles, has been applied in form of tower for support of 55-ft girder spans in two viaducts; object is to extend application of concrete bent construction to locations where height of structure is such as to preclude use of reinforced concrete pile bent.
