Bigger spillways for salt river dams
Enlargement and improvement of spillways of Roosevelt, Horse Mesa, Mormon Flat and Stewart Mountain dams, varying in height from 212 to 305 ft, on basis of model tests which showed that they discharged only about 60% of their design capacity. (See also Eng News-Rec v 121 n 6 Aug 11 1938 p 174-7)
