How copper sulphate is used for root control in sewers
Treating house connections, sewer mains, laterals, pumps and storm drain; average dose for home is 2 lb copper sulphate crystals placed in flush toilet followed by 2 or 3 flushings to carry them into house sewer line; same or larger quantity is sprinkled through opened manholes along invert of sewer; similar procedure is applicable to storm drains.
