Description of concrete grain elevator of 500,000 bu capacity in San Francisco harbor; continuous and speedy pouring of concrete made possible by use of movable wooden slip forms; foundation was secured with about 80 ft long Douglas fir piles; concrete construction progressed 8 ft every 24 hr; elevator will contain 21 round bins and 12 star bins.
