Dam is 2256 ft gravity type and will contain 808-ft central spillway topped by 17 tainter gates; right abutment will be 508 ft long while left abutment (containing eight 18-ft penstocks) will be 940 ft long; 16 flood control conduits will be placed in base of spillway section.
