Charts enable designer to get clear conception of what strength to expect from any proper combination of air, water and cement ingredients in concrete whose coarse aggregate is broken stone or gravel; for gravel concretes, 40 psi from 7-day strengths and 60 psi from 28-day values must be deducted.
