Fire hazard tests with masonry chimneys
Reports on tests made by Nat Bur of Standards of various types of conventional masonry chimneys to determine hazards they present and what could be done to reduce hazards found in test program; 21 masonry chimneys were subjected to about 200 tests with coal, wood and gas fuels to determine hazard of ignition of adjacent woodwork.
