Podolsko bridge over Vltava River, Czechoslovakia, has main arch of 492 ft clear span, and 8 additional arches of 121 ft each; width of deck 27 ft 11 in. with two lanes and two sidewalks; design checked by photoelastic model tests; solid concrete arch with uniform thickness of 6 ft 6 3/4 in.; data on scaffolding, stress analysis and construction procedure.
