Laboratory study of asphalts from native bitumens and bituminous sandstones
14 straight run asphalts were prepared in laboratory from bitumens obtained from Rozel Point, Utah, from Athabaska bituminous sandstone at Alberta, Canada, and from Edna bituminous sandstone outcropping in San Luis Obispo County, Calif; three to seven asphalts with penetrations ranging from 19 to 287 at 77 F were prepared from each; properties determined.
