Use of natural anhydrite in Portland cement
Possibility of replacing gypsum wholly or in part by natural anhydrite studied; seven clinkers were ground with varying percentages of gypsum, and tests made to determine optimum amount of SO3 for each clinker; clinkers were ground with optimum amount of SO3 in form of mixtures of gypsum and natural anhydrite and tests repeated; comparison of results obtained with gypsum alone and with blends of gypsum and natural anhydrite (See also - discussion p 57-8)
