Behavior of experimental zinc-steel couples underground
Behavior of zinc anodes for protection of iron and steel cathodically was investigated in eight diverse soil environments; corrosion of steel cathodes was prevented over test periods of from 3 to 6 yr except in one poorly conducting soil and in very alkaline soil.
