Europe's highest concrete tower
Reinforced concrete radio tower in Stockholm, Sweden is to be used for research work in short wave field from approximately 10 down to 1 cm; it is 72 m high and has been raised by teams of three men working in three 8-hr shifts in three weeks; rectangular cross section is 4.93 m by 5.85 m; construction was achieved with aid of glide molds which can be raised by turning screws.
