Precast concrete engine shed roofs
Details of standardized concrete roof design employed on sheds of London, Midland and Scottish Railway Co; basic units are columns, beams, smoke curtains, gutters, glazing bars, vents and trough cover slabs; only alteration necessary to make this design fit large number of sheds was slight increase in length of beams and glazing bars.
