Outlet conduit through Horsetooth dam of Colorado-Big Thompson Project, is about 1100 ft long; it consists partly of 8.5-ft heavy concrete pipe and partly of two 72-in. steel pipes carried in double barrelled horse-shoeshaped concrete conduit; regulation of water flow will be handled by slide gates in dome shaped structure underneath dam and by hollow jet valves.
