Beneficiation tests on gypsum rock from Washington county, Idaho
Sample on which tests were made was obtained from deposit north of Weimer, Idaho; gypsum occurs as lenses in gypsite formation overlain by limestone; high recovery of gypsum in product containing 3.8% acid insoluble cannot be expected, as about 30% will be retained in oversize product; it would probably be necessary to have market for this as well as for improved product, for beneficiation to be economically feasible.
