Effects of various clays used in mill additions on properties of titania-opacified enamel
Study of effects of 20 clays under standardized conditions of milling, spraying, and firing; coatings sprayed at 30 gm per sq ft were examined for bisque strength, brushing behavior, and tearing, after firing for 3 min at 1540 F, and at 1640 F, reflectance, color, gloss, and acid resistance of enamels observed; effect of slip adjustment on enamel properties.
