Through use of mix with high portland cement content, Universal Concrete Pipe Co, Columbus, Ohio, is obtaining cinder brick that tests up to 2600 psi in compression after three days; approximately 6000 bricks and 600 blocks manufactured per hr; mix approximates 6 bags of portland cement to 3600 lb of cinders of max size of 1/2 in.
