Settlement of underground mine waters of witwatersrand
Settlement of acid mine water is affected by chemical composition, and increases with amount of ferric hydrates formed; settlement also affected by actual amount of mine sludge present in suspension in water, salts which remain in solution after neutralization; treatment of underground water to prevent equipment corrosion and for use in rock drills.
