Gyroscopic equipment for alignment, grade surveys
Combination of odometer, gyrosyn, and vertical gyroscope housed in station wagon makes possible measurement of: distance to nearest 1/ 1000 mi, azimuth to nearest degree, and grades and superelevations to nearest percent; more than 3000 mi of California state highway have been surveyed by means of this equipment in few months.
