Ultimate strength theory for eccentrically loaded reinforced concrete columns
Method for computing ultimate strength of reinforced concrete sections subject to combined bending and compression; it is based on idealized stress strain diagram proposed by F.von Emperger and developed by V.P. Jensen, in which compressive strain of concrete at failure is divided into perfectly elastic and perfectly plastic stage.
