Concrete box-girder bridge replaces obsolete structure at Duvall, Wash
New bridge across Snoqualmie River, 1182 ft long, is reinforced concrete structure; river spans consist of single 2-celled, 3-web girder, 20 ft wide and 7 ft deep; 80-ft approach spans carried by two separate girders each 5 ft 6 in. wide and 4 ft deep; roadway 24 ft, width 29 ft 6 in; when approach span girder meets river span girder, heavy transition piers overcome unpleasant effect.
