For spans of 40 to 80 ft most usual type of Swedish concrete bridge is 2-hinged beam frame with two or more main frames; system with only one main frame, especially adapted to narrow roads; comparison between actually constructed bridge of this type and equivalent bridge of traditional design shows that former is more economical.
