Prestressed concrete taxi-track, 355 ft long and 120 ft wide, composed of precast unreinforced concrete slabs most of which are 2 ft 11 in. square and 6 1/2 in. thick; transverse cables placed in grooves at joints between precast slabs; each cable comprises thirty 0.2-in. hard drawn steel wires wrapped in bitumen coated paper; tensile strength of wires is 90 to 100 tons per sq in.
