Computer simulation of transit operation and costs
Program generates transit system operating statistics, for projected economic life of any proposed rapid transit system, using computer simulation methods; arbitrary annual changes in patronage, daily load cycles, peak capacity requirements, and standards of service can be introduced for predicted changes in urban planning; simulated operating statistics are translated into annual income statements, debt service and cash flow analyses; provisions are made for evaluations of alternative system proposals.
