Short steel structure carrying street-car line across group of railroad tracks; in length of only 1850 ft., includes truss and girder spans, pin-connected floor beams in trusses, special floor construction, extreme skews, grades of 1.6 to 8.3 per cent, sharp curves, rehabilitation of stretch of old structure, adaptation of new steel work to old foundation footings; steel bents, new pier built as part freight-house wall (with doors and windows); erection difficulties due to crossing busy railway tracks and yards.
