Developed as a unit type in 1916 to fulfill requirements of field as well as state railroads. Specifications: Max. speed, 65 km. per hr.; no. of cylinders, 3; diam. of cylinder, 570 mm.; stroke of piston, 660 mm.; excess steam pressure, 12 atmos.; diam. of driving wheel, 1400 mm. and of free wheel, 1000 mm.; working weight, 93,000 kg.; light weight, 85,000 kg. Built by Henschel and Son, Cassel.
