Workshop cranes for construction of large machines
Gives example of crane installation for hall 106 m. in length; span of crane, 22 m.; max. lift of hook from ground, 13 m.; weight of heaviest pieces, 100 tons. It was decided to construct two cranes of 50-ton lifting power each which in the case of 100-ton loads operate jointly. (See also - no. 17 Apr. 29 1921)
