Results of tests carried out by State Material-Testing Bureau, Berlin, on a three-story reinforced-concrete building supported by eight continuous columns, show that reinforced concrete, even under most unfavorable circumstances, possesses almost unlimited resistance against fire, and that in reinforced-concrete buildings firemen are never exposed to danger of unexpectedly and suddenly falling ceilings or roofs.
