Loss of head in activated sludge aeration channels
Analysis of flow conditions that differ from those encountered in usual channel problems, because introduction of diffused air tends to retard velocity; extent to which flow is retarded when diffused compressed air is introduced into flowing mixture of sewage and activated sludge. (See also - n 3,5 and 9 (discussion) Mar 1934 p 429-35, May 1934 p 734-9 (author's closure) pt 1 Nov 1934 p 1352-3; Sewage Works J v 6 n 3 May 1934 p 629-30.
