New type of non-skid permanent pavement constructed on Albany Post Road, between Ossining and Scarborough, NY; consists of 12 by 12 by 5-in. precast concrete blocks with granite face or top 2 1/2 in. in depth, laid on screeded 1-in. dry mortar cushion over hard subgrade, which was previously cleaned.
