Experiments to determine backwater effects of submerged sills in St. Clair river
Experiments on effects of proposed sills in St. Clair River indicating that (1) it is possible to raise level of Lake Huron by use of sills (2) backwater effects of sills increase as discharge of river is increased; tests of backwater resulting from deeply submerged weirs made by U S Lake Survey; comparison of results from distorted and undistorted models.
