Pardee dam will be 360 ft. high above present river bed and will require 625,000 cu. yd. of concrete; design of dam was changed from arch type to curved gravity after excavation was begun; reservoir formed will impound 72,344,000,000 gal. or 222,000 acre-ft. of water, and will cover 2,134 acres of land; total available storage above outlet tunnel will be 66,473,000 gal. or 204,000 acre-ft.; crest of dam will be elevation 575 U. S. G. S. and elevation of outlet tunnel 392.
