Particular emphasis is placed on points in which United States practice differs from that in Germany; description of close ribbed floors and of method of fastening plaster ceilings to ribs; various labor-saving devices are described, including steel dome forms for floor construction, special fittings for spacing reinforcement bars and rolls of fabricated reinforcement for columns, and readily spaced stirrups.
