Rock dusting by hand method
Suggests systematic application of rock dust by coal-face workers; opinion is expressed that hardy small fraction of one per cent of coal mines of United States are adequately protected by rock dust; until adopted as necessary practice, it is certain to fail as preventive of widespread disasters.
