New prestressed concrete jetty on Thames at Erith
Jetty is L-shaped in plan; straight approach arm consists of eight bays of 50-ft span and jetty head comprises 22 bays of 25-ft span; angle formed between approach arm and head is 79°; precast prestressed concrete construction adopted for main structural members with in situ concrete deck slab.
