The structure is made up of two half girders, hinged at middle and at abutments with cantilever projections back of abutments, carrying independent shore spans. Total length of iron work 1,344.8 feet: central span, 820.0 feet, side spans, each, 262.4 feet; height of rail above bottom of valley, 382.1 feet.
