Effect of local-action currents on Iron potential
Reference to fact that iron electrode potential is appreciably affected by change of pH even though ferrous ion concentration remains constant; however, data of various investigators is not reproducible; basic reasons for lack of reproducibility; factors affecting corrosion rate; studies show that iron potential is irreversible and value depends on magnitude of local action currents.
