Reconstruction of sewage disposal works, Sowerby Bridge, Yorks
Construction of up-to-date plant to treat dry-weather flow of 360,000 gal. per 24 hr., and for three times this amount in times of storm, taking place of antiquated works which consisted of two septic tanks and eight primary and eight secondary contact beds,. etc.; effect of old works on design; existing septic tanks were converted into storm-water, aeration and settling tanks.
