Erection of steel frame of new 33-story McGraw-Hill building, in New York City; horizontally striped facade produced by wide bands of blue-green terra cotta blocks, covering spandrels at every floor; plant layout showing location of hoists, derricks and contractor's yard; columns of which heaviest weighed 19 1/2 tons, were fabricated and erected in two-story lengths.
