Features of two recently completed highway bridges; cantilever bridge at Nahlat Yakob, 12 mi. northeast of Haifa, consisting of five 20-ft. spans is built of structural steel encased in concrete; reinforced-concrete grade-separation bridge, 3 mi. northeast of Haifa, consists of 3 pairs of continuous spans, 50 ft. each, reinforced with angles and flats; use of old iron nails as admixture to concrete.
