Laboratory freezing-and-thawing tests of concrete
Tests performed to select combination of aggregate and cement that would yield concrete of good resistance to rapid freezing-and-thawing in laboratory are described; alternative methods of calculating results of such tests are given and differences are indicated; differences in results from tests of presumably similar concrete specimens are regarded as having been caused by differences in cements used rather than differences in aggregates.
