Anchorage zone reinforcement for post-tensioned concrete
Method for reinforcing prestressed concrete end blocks is discussed; method is based on J.Zielinski and R.E.Rowe experimental work; typical design curves are shown that can be devised to simplify design procedure; effects of variations in concrete strength and anchorage sizes are also discussed and certain recommendations made; different design cases are presented and general characteristics of design graphs given; choice of end block size; design graphs for 12/ 0.276 in. wire anchorages.
