Elastic-plastic behaviour of prestressed concrete frames
Behavior and ultimate strength of post-tensioned, prestressed concrete frame under transverse load was investigated to verify recommendations made by Research Committee of Institution of Civil engineers concerning methods for designing statically indeterminate structures; three frames were tested; deflections and strains due to bending were measured at selected points; experimental results show considerable measure of agreement with theoretical conclusions.
