Problem of hardening of precast concrete units is dealt with and discussion which took place at RILEM; (Reunion Int des Laboratories d 'Essais et des Recherches sur les Materiaux et les Constructions) conference held in Moscow July 6 to 8, 1964 is summarized; techniques of special cements and 1-p steam curing are dealt with and recent developments in curing by hot oil immersion and IR ray heating methods are discussed.
