Technique is described by means of which concrete walls of twin apartment towers were slipped story at time in San Francisco; checks and controls of form level and alignment included system of water-filled tubes, oil-damped plumb bobs, and steel tapes arranged to give progress readings automatically as forms were jacked upward; post-tensioned floor slabs provided lateral support for rising walls.
