Review of techniques and possibilities in architectural off-form concrete finishes
Techniques reviewed include finishes obtainable direct from form, board marked and smooth finishes, casting against ferro-cement or concrete in production of often repeated complex curvilinear ribs and slabs and heavy sections, textured and sculptured surfaces, exposed aggregate finishes, exposure by brushing, washing and tooling, exposure of aggregates by sand and shot blasting, and coloring and staining.
